Co-Chairs: Deb and Tim Rossi
Deb and Tim Rossi have been in Tucson for twenty years and have chaired four American Cancer Society Galas and have been dedicated volunteers for many years. Their passion for the American Cancer Society started the day Deb was diagnosed with aggressive Cancer in 2008. In addition to her battle, Deb has lost sixteen members of her immediate family as well as Tim’s mother to Cancer – they both know the struggles that can result from hearing those words “you have Cancer”.
Once diagnosed, both Deb and Tim relied on information available from the American Cancer Society’s extraordinary resources both in-person and online.
Deb and Tim have been dedicated volunteers in many areas. Deb started her volunteer work in 1969 working at The American Red Cross at ten years old and had held various volunteer positions such as PTO President, Homeowners Association President and has held multiple board positions in Southern California and Arizona. Along with chairing the American Cancer Society Galas, Tim has served on gala planning committees for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association; as well as serving as an Executive Board Member for two Pop Warner Football Associations and coach for over eleven years.
Deb has one son who was a Combat Engineer for the United States Marine Corps for six years and, after graduating from Northern Arizona University, is now working as a Pharmaceutical Representative for a large drug company.
In their spare time, Tim and Deb enjoy traveling and expanding their knowledge about the wine industry.

For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
